Minimum is full day Isle of Capri Rate (see rates below). Delivery to Marco and Naples is $30 and includes pick up. We can deliver outside of this. Please call for more information.
You can pick up just about any style of kayak here at the shop to take with you for any length of time. Rental comes with paddle and life jacket, plus skirt, pump and float for touring kayaks. We keep many kayaks here at the shop but please call ahead to make sure we have what you want.
We open every day at 9 a.m. (noon on Sundays at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida). Our locations are beautiful and offer private direct access to the Gulf of Mexico and Everglades. Whether you want a quiet paddle followed by a picnic on the beach or the chance to see manatees and all the unique wildlife Florida offers, we have a location for you.
There is someone ON SITE at each of our locations ready to help you. We have all styles of kayaks available -- sit in, sit on -- and all have seats.
If you are looking for a touring kayak over 14 feet long, please call the shop to make arrangements. We have a good selection of both skeg and ruddered single and double sea kayaks. A skeg or rudder adds $10 per day to rental price.
After your tour is sceduled, you will be contacted by your guide a day or two before your trip to review your paddling experience (None required) and what to bring. You will also be contacted by your guide one hour prior to the trip IF we need to cancel due to weather. You will meet the guide at the scheduled location. The guide will help you select a kayak that best suits you and you feel comfortable in. After that, the guide will go through safety items and get everyone onto the water. You will then go through some basic training or review of some basic paddle strokes. Most importantly, the guide will show you the easiest, most effective way to go forward.
Our most popular tour! Launch from the quaint, private beach behind the Capri Fish House Restaurant into Johnson Bay. There are mangrove tunnels, estuaries and beaches. The actual route depends on the weather, what everyone would like to see most and the overall abilities of the group.
The adventure trip! Head out of Glades Haven into the wilderness of the Ten Thousand Islands. Lots of fun!
A nice, quiet paddle down the Gordon River -- a serene mangove tunnel, shady and protected from the wind. Turtles like the Penninsula Cooter and birds like the Cormorant will keep you company as you paddle down this lazy river that is completely inaccessible by boats. A great trip for beginners or for those with less overall physical abilty.
So you would like to get started in the growing sport of kayak fishing, but don't know where to start? Try a four hour day on the water with one of our experienced guides. Once your tour is scheduled, you will be contacted by you guide, who will review your paddling and fishing experience ( NO experience necessary!). The guide will then help you get equipped for the trip so you don't waste time and money. (Fishing rods also available for rent).
Usually the day will start early depending on the tides. You will be alongside your guide in your own top of the line fishing kayak. The first 20 minutes or so will be a review of basic kayak strokes so you will can paddle and position your kayak effectively. Then you will head out to find the fish! Species vary by season but we go after Snook, Redfish, Spotted Sea Trout, Tarpon, Jack Cravalle, Permit, Ladyfish and many more!
The trip does not include a fishing license which you can get by calling (888) 347-4356 anytime before the trip. Most of our guests head out on their own and just rent after a guided fishing tour or two. The trip does not include fishing tackle. Rod and reel rental is $25. Fly rod rental is $55. These prices include a hook. Your guide will discuss various options for lures, flies and bait.
Same as above with an experienced kayak fly fishing guide. This requires some fly fishing knowledge and casting skill.
Rentals offer an affordable and fun way to spend a day on the water. Prices are listed below. Kayak deliveries to Marco Island and Naples are also available. Delivery charge is $30 (minimum full day rental) and includes drop off and pick up for up to four kayaks.

We accommodate large groups. Please call for large group and corporate rates. A corporate kayak tour is a great way for your small or large business to build morale and team spirit.

Saltwater Sports is Southwest Florida's kayak outfitter. We are fully licensed and insured, with experienced guides to make your trip fun! We can take beginners to advanced paddlers. We have a variety of kayak types to make you feel comfortable on your trip. We'll teach you how to paddle efficiently and effectively. All food and beverages are provided as well as all camping gear. You may wish to bring your own sleeping bag as well as some personal items.
Flamingo Shuttle: We can pick up or drop off boats in Flamingo for $200 for the first two and $25 for each additional boat. For people and boats, the cost is $ 500 for the first two boats and two people, and $25 for each additional boat and person.
