Glades Haven

Located in Everglades City, this rental location is situated in the beautiful, family-owned campground of Glades Haven.

Our rental location is open daily at 8 a.m. No need to call for reservations. Just come on down. Guided tours are available daily. Call for reservations.

Enjoy the campground and its facilities and paddle in the Everglades where you'll see Florida's favored denizens --alligators -- and much more. You can also launch your own kayak here at no charge. After you're done, stop by the Oyster House Restaurant for a great meal and a refreshing beverage.

From mild to wild, Halfway Creek is a great paddle for beginners. Take the slow easy paddle up beautiful Halfway Creek for a taste of what Florida was like. There is very little effect of wind and tide on this route, and it's easy to get through.

Take the adventure route and head out into the Ten Thousand Islands for a great day of exploration or camp overnight!

There is someone ON SITE at each of our locations ready to help you. We have all styles of kayaks available -- sit in, sit on -- and all have seats. If you are looking for a touring kayak over 14 feet long, please call the shop to make arrangements.
